English Translation:
So that it might grant honour to Almighty God, benefit the Catholic Faith, and help in the salvation of all who come here, this church is consecrated by the Right Reverend John Neville, Titular Bishop of Carrhae, in a solemn mass of 29 April 1939, when Augustine O’Neill OFM was Provincial of the Franciscan Order in Ireland, Angelus Hollis was Superior of this Friary, Edward Byrne was Archbishop of Dublin, Pius XII was Pope, and Paschal Robinson OFM was Papal Nuncio.
